The creative partnership between Elle and Blake dates back to the founding days of Eclectic Records, when Elle, then known as Elle A—released her breakout single, Jet Set, in 2007. The track catapulted the Swedish songwriter and model into the global spotlight, leading to a flurry of gigs and collaborations across various side projects. At the helm of this journey was Blake, who not only served as the producer for the single but also as the label manager for the main project. Under his guidance, they successfully released several singles and secured licensing deals, even seeing album releases on vinyl and CD in Japan.
Over time, Elle’s passion for music evolved, and she began producing her own material. Her talent in the studio quickly flourished, leading to a series of releases under the alias Minou. In addition to her solo work, she ventured into new creative territory by forming a gothic band named Javelynn in her hometown in Sweden.
After some time apart, Elle and Blake reunited in London, where they released an EP together on Eclectic Records and performed a series of live shows. Now, they are once again joining forces and are hard at work on an exciting new project, promising to bring even more innovative music to their fans.
